CBHS HIGHGATE GOLDEN JUBILEE MASS

On 15th March 1986 a Mass was held at Highgate to celebrate the 50 Year Golden

Jubilee of CBHS Highgate.

The Principal Celebrant was Bishop Peter Quinn - a 1939 Old Boy of Highgate.

The College Principal in 1986 was Brother K.W.Johns.

This Plaque commemorates the Golden Jubilee event.

The following is a photo of the original CBHS Foundation Stone which commemorates the blessing of

the new school building at CBHS Highgate on 29 September 1935 by Archbishop Raymond Prendiville.

The first year of classes commenced in 1936.
